Cleveland Spray Foam Company

A Spray Foam Insulation Company With One Big Idea: Moisture Comes First

Why Cleveland Needed a Different Kind of Insulation Company

Cleveland Spray Foam Company exists because of something we noticed on job after job across Northeast Ohio: when insulation fails here, it almost never fails because there wasn’t enough of it. It fails because moisture got into it. Lake Erie keeps our humidity up all year, our shoulder seasons cross the freezing line multiple times a week, and the result is a climate that punishes any insulation, and any insulation company, that treats R-value as the whole story. So we built the company around the part of the story that actually decides outcomes in Cleveland: air sealing and moisture control first, R-value as the reward for getting them right.

That idea shapes everything downstream. It’s why we install both closed-cell and open-cell foam and spec them surface by surface instead of spraying one product at everything. It’s why we’ll tell you plainly when a crawl space needs drainage before it needs a liner, or when your “insulation problem” is actually five air leaks with names we already know. And it’s why so much of our work lives in the houses this region is famous for: the pre-1980 colonials, capes, bungalows, and century homes that were built solid, built beautiful, and built before anyone here insulated anything.

We serve homeowners and businesses across Greater Cleveland, from the lakefront streets that take the weather head-on to the outer-ring lots with a pole barn out back, and every project starts the same way: with a free, on-site look and a straight answer about what your building actually needs.

How We Approach Every House and Building

The moisture check comes first. Before anyone talks foam, we figure out how air and water actually move through your building: where humid air is reaching cold surfaces, where the known Zone 5 leak points are doing their damage, and whether there’s a bulk water problem that has to be solved before insulation should even be discussed. If there is, we’ll say so instead of sealing it inside. Foam installed over an unsolved moisture problem isn’t an upgrade; it’s a burial.

The spec names the foam, surface by surface. Closed-cell and open-cell are different tools, and most buildings need both: closed-cell where concrete, soil, or steel is on the other side of the assembly, open-cell where deep cavities need filling and rooms need quieting. Your estimate spells out which foam goes where and why, so you’re never buying a one-product answer to a whole-house question.

Estimates are free, on-site, and in plain English. We don’t quote from satellite photos or phone descriptions, because a Parma cape and a Lakewood century home with the same square footage are entirely different projects. We walk the building, we put a firm number on paper, and we explain it in the same language we’d want used on us. No jargon, no pressure, and same-day replies whenever we can manage them.

Your home gets treated like a home. Work areas are contained, materials travel out through hoses and sealed bags rather than your hallway, and we’re honest about cure times and when rooms are ready to live in again. The goal is that the only lasting evidence we were there is a building that finally holds its heat.

What We Install Across Greater Cleveland

Where We Work

Our home base is Cleveland, and our service area follows the weather rather than the map: the lake-effect corridor, the freeze-thaw belt, and the neighborhoods full of houses built before insulation was taken seriously. That means daily work across the city and its suburbs, with dedicated pages for the communities we’re in most.

If your address isn’t on that list but your winter feels like ours, get in touch anyway. We confirm service for surrounding communities all the time, and the estimate costs you nothing either way.
